Recipe For Success

Ever feel so ravenous with hunger, that you could consume astronomical quantities of food?  Well, let me try to quell that feeling the best I can with a tasty, healthy, filling, meal:

I don't always cook this gourmet, but sometimes it's necessary to mix things up, and get some solid nutrients into my body.  Having a picnic table isn't necessary, but it is SO much easier.




 
Get some quinoa or your favorite pasta
Dice up some garlic, onion, peppers, and anything else you want to throw in... like bok choy, broccoli, zucchin, etc
Cook the quinoa or pasta
Don't forget tomatoes if you have some

A good jar of sauce.  This is a Indian-style butter, curry sauce

Sautee the veggies with some oil or butter

Until a nice golden brown

Stir in sauce and tomatoes to cooked veggies and you're done!

Warm quinoa smells great

Add some salt and/or pepper if you like

I had this jar since Whitehorse, and finally used it near Skookumchuck


Will feed 2-3 people, or 1 hungry cyclist.
